SCANNING EQUIPMENT
LODAHL offers precise and accurate 3D-scanning which forms the basis for proper design. By using 3D-scanning as the basis for design, a number of advantages are achieved:
• Scans are downloaded to the client’s 3D-tools (PDM’s, PD’s, AutoCAD, etc.).
• Scans are “as built.” Everything is within an accuracy of +/- 2 mm.
• You can connect or combine the new design directly to the custom components in the scan.
• New designs can be loaded into the scan to check for compatibility with existing equipment.
• The design process can take place anywhere in the world as there is no need for the designer to be on location of the facility.
If a project is based on 3D-scanning that is supplemented with dimension control, we guarantee that all prefabricated items can be installed without any modifications.
